7th February – Bike Ride

In perfect weather today we had 8 cyclists who enjoyed their ride from Terang to Noorat and return….and of course their cuppa at ‘The Shed’.

13th February Tea & Tour for Ten ($10)

Members visited Webber and Chivells today- a family owned local Fertilizer business which has been in operation for over 40 years. Just a few of the services provided at Webber & Chivells includes fertilizer spreading & blending and soil and nutrient testing. We got to see a drone in action, the work yard & buildings and during afternoon tea- kindly provided by Webber and Chivell, Andrew and his staff told us more about this business.

We certainly learnt lots about this industry.

Thanks Andrew and all your crew for a VERY interesting afternoon…. and for the very yummy afternoon tea😜.

14th February – Hike

In perfect weather, 7 of us enjoyed a fly free walk down the rail trail with drinks at the Cobden Golf club as our reward.

15th February – Trivia

Today’s Trivia fun at Noorat finished off with a scrumptious afternoon tea.

16th February – Friday Forum

As part of our Friday Forum program, Emily Mercer from the Camperdown Community House gave us a detailed account of the workings of the Community House & the Corangamite Food bank. The stats showed us what a vital community service the Food Bank provides for many local families doing it tough and how we can be of help.

Thanks Emily for a very enlightening program.

20th February – Let’s Do Lunch

A great turn out at our first ‘Let’s do Lunch’ at Excuse Me Katies in Camperdown.

February 23rd – Travel Tales
What an excellent program to start our ‘Travel Tales’ this year. Maureen and John have visited Paris on many occasions for family reunions. Today they shared their experiences in this city of lights, culture, arts, love…..and the 2024 Olympic Games.
Tres bien Maureen & John.
Merci 👍
