FROM THE U3A CORANGAMITE PRESIDENT – FEBRUARY 6 2018

Wow what a day we had last week: around 100 people and now more than 130 members with over 30 indeed new members.

Welcome to everyone!!

So what is next for everyone?

All courses can now begin as the leaders/contact people have the class lists.

As I said last week, if you have put your name on a course which had all details listed – leader, contact person, date, venue etc. in the majority of courses you just need to turn up.

Unfortunately a few have too many (over the max number) so we have had to ballot numbers names drawn out of a hat.  If you have missed out you will be contacted. We are sorry for this but hope you understand.

Remember to wear your name tag and bring your medical card to all activities. The badges will be given out at activities as we progress.

Watch out for Facebook highlights and this website for updates.

Also watch out for the bi-monthly newsletter and Course update with the next one in April.

Remember if you can no longer be at an activity please ring the contact person ASAP.

Some membership forms are incomplete and you will be contacted if yours is one.

Can you still book in?

By all means, just ring the contact person.

As events are all over the Shire we recommend car pooling where possible.

We’d still love to hear of any new courses, leaders, speakers, lunch spots and places to tour.
