16th June – Friday Forum
This afternoon Dallas Petrie spoke to members of U3A on his passion for cars & anything auto related. He reflected on his automative interest which has developed over many years.
He spoke on his life whilst living in Cobden and the benefits this has given him, enabling him to join organisations, travel to places including overseas, to expand this interest.
Thanks Dallas for a very interesting insight into the world of a car lover.
23th June – Travel Tales
Another excellent Travel Tales program.
We had 35 members enjoy Heather & Dallas Petrie’s trip to Spain, Morocco and Portugal yesterday. So interesting and so appreciated.

27th June – Tea and Tour for 10
Well what a lovely afternoon’s activity. Members today enjoyed a visit to Cobden Miniature Railway Park where they were treated to a train ride, Devonshire tea (YUM ) & a talk on the history of the complex. Thanks so much to the South Western Model Engineers for the great hospitality.
The afternoon finished with an insight into the history & development of the Cobden Mini Golf Course.
The mini trains, mini golf, Pioneer Park & Historical Soc. are open this Sunday.
