May 10th – Hike
On Wednesday we had 7 members hike up and around the crater at Mt Elephant finishing off with a cuppa at the Visitor Centre. A very enjoyable outing in perfect weather.
May 16th – Tea and Tour for $10
Wow!! What an outing today. Our members thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the robotic dairy in Mepunga owned by Paul Smith.
Paul gave us a really interesting talk on how and why he built this robotic dairy then let us watch the the afternoon milking procession. 720 cows !!….one milker !!
This is the only robotic milking dairy of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere!

May 19th – Friday Forum
Harold Eller gave us a very interesting insight into China today. Having lived and worked in China, Harold told us about China’s history, the Chinese people and their lifestyles and the many tourists trips they enjoyed. Thanks Harold for a most informative and intriguing Friday Forum.
May 28th – Travel Tales
Our Travel Tales program on Friday took us all the way to the Antarctic. Presenter Ross Kimber shared his amazing month long Antarctic cruise expedition. Ross a keen photographer wowed us with his scenic & wildlife camera shots. Another excellent afternoon
