March 6th – Australiana Trivia Quiz

U3A members enjoyed an Australiana Trivia this week. Lots of fun, laughter and crazy answers & a yummy afternoon tea at the end. Trivia is held on the first Monday. Perhaps you’d like to join us next time.
Seriously good fun 👍.

March 13th – Let’s Do Coffee and Books

The Cobden Coffee and Books group didn’t worry about the holiday today as they shared their books and thoughts about biographical and history books they had read this month. Great discussion and a yummy afternoon tea to follow. The group is always welcoming of new members.

March 15th – Birdwatching

U3A’s Birdwatching at Lake Purrumbete and Lake Eligamite was a very successful event which included 10 participants. Leader Helen Langley pointed out many varieties of bird life and her knowledge is quite amazing. Morning tea was enjoyed at the Lake Edge Café.

March 17th – Friday Forum

Janine Fitzpatrick was our speaker at Friday Forum today. Janine has been the owner of a Tesla car for the last couple of years and just loves it. Today she spoke about why/when/how she bought a Tesla car and all the ’ins & outs’ of an electric model. Members were very impressed👍.
Thanks Janine for a very interesting session.

March 24th – Travel Tales

Liz Patterson took us on a journey around Japan last Friday. So much to love about this country. Food, culture, shopping & sights. So many contrasts !!
Thanks Lizzie for such an interesting program❤️

The Union Station Hotel in Woolsthorpe was our “Let’s do Lunch” destination today.
Lots of laughter, fellowship, great food and hospitality👍.
