1st October – Mahjong

It was so good to be able to play Mahjong again 🎉
So ❤️this game 👍


5th October – Middle Eastern Cooking

U3A can’t thank Liz Patterson enough❤️. We are so very, very grateful. Liz provided us with 3 WONDERFUL sessions of Middle Eastern Cooking. This session was the last 🥲
The MENU was:
*Baba Gounouj, *Spiced pitta breads, *Persian “Shepherds Pie” with butterbean crust and rice, *Tabbouleh, *Cinnamon spiced syllabub, * Ghraybeh ( Lebanese butter cookies).
HOW LUCKY ARE WE!!👍❤️
PS: If you’re needing catering, Liz is part of a catering business called Rustic Tarts 😜


6th October – Bike Ride

What a beautiful day for a bike ride ☀️. Our group went 14km along the Rail Trail and back to Lake Bullen Merri.
We’ll done 👍


7th October – Current Affairs

The Current Affairs group had a stimulating session covering many topics. It was great to get together again after a 4 month recess.


13th October – Hike up Mt Elephant

The wind didn’t deter the 8 members who climbed Mt Elephant today. The views in all directions along the way and up the top were superb ❤️


14th October – Mini Golf

Mini Golf in Cobden this morning 👍.
Lots of fun, laughter and crazy wayward shots!!


October 15th – Friday Forum

Susan Bosch from Victoria Legal Aid was our Friday Forum speaker today. Inspirational and very informative about the complexities and diversity of the Legal Aid system.


20th October – Silk Painting

What a fabulous Silk Painting session today.
Led by Helen Langley we were shown the intricacies of how to use gutta and dyes to create patterns or pictures.
Thanks heaps Helen for a fun filled very productive day👍


28th October – Mini Golf

The weather was perfect for our mini golf players today. Another fun morning and lots of winners 👍………and losers😝😜!!!


28th October – Future Planning

Our U3A Corangamite “Future Planning” session went very well Lots of input, great ideas and heaps of suggestions and feedback. Thanks to the members who attended. You’ve helped create a path that our great organisation can now follow.
