13th September – Tea and Tour for $10
What a delightful outing today
U3A members had a lovely time touring Heytesbury House in Cobden and learning about its history as a drs residence and hospital. Owners Kathryn & Andrew Stubbings are doing an amazing job preserving the history of this elegant B & B.
Following the tour we were treated to a Devonshire Tea in the dining room.
Thanks so much Kathryn & Andrew for sharing your journey with this Cobden gem. Your hospitality was truly appreciated as well
14th September – Walk
Nailed it. Climbed Mt Sugarloaf and Mt Leura today. Stunning views.
16th September – Friday Forum
Another really interesting Friday Forum program this afternoon.

23rd September – Travel Tales
Penny O’Neill wowed us with the amazing trip she did last year in her 20 year-old Toyota Hi-Ace van named Tina. Over 7 months Penny travelled solo for 40,000 km leaving from Victoria, travelling through SA, up the centre and down the west coast.
So many experiences, so many highlights and so many awesome scenic views.
Thanks heaps Penny for sharing your fun and adventures and your many tales of getting lost!
22nd September – Let’s Do Lunch
Not a bad way to spend an afternoon . Enjoying lunch at Cobden’s Thompsons Hotel hit the spot.
